
David Crowe
David Crowe graduated with a BSC (Wool and Pastoral Sciences) in 1987 and commenced work at the CSIRO Division of Wool Technology (Ryde) in December 1987.
David commenced with AWTA Ltd in February 1999, as a Senior Research Officer, and has been involved in various research projects including colour measurement calibration, Laserscan calibration and water Laserscan and crimp frequency measurement. In October 2007, he commenced work at the AWTA Raw Wool Laboratory in Melbourne as the Technical Manager. His primary responsibility was the technical performance of the Melbourne Wool Testing Laboratory.
In July 2009, he was appointed Research and Technical Manager with responsibility for the research direction and technical performance of the Raw Wool Division of AWTA Ltd.
David currently holds a number of industry positions including: Member: Management Committee of Interwoollabs; Chairman: FAWO Technical Committe; Committee Member: ILRT Group Executive; Secretary: IWTO Contracts & Specifications Committee.
